Bravo!! Bravo!! I am laughing so friggin hard that I'm wheezing. And so goes the frustration of much of the motoring public. It's terrible that in Okla., most know that heaven forbid if you want to get anywhere quickly, you have to drive in the "right" lane because of the motorist you describe. And I disagree Shannon, what could be better than a legal update with a splash of Humor. Very well done:)

My question is why are Tulsa Police Officers currently asking for proof of citizenship? when the NEW law that allows them to do that goes into effect on November 1st of 2007?
This is affecting the economy and our business! you might think you are 'helping' the state of Oklahoma but when you see our economy go down hill you will regret targeting the Hispanic community. The approach lo illegal immigration shoould be revised.

Thanks for listening.

Usually I don't like to be critical of things unless I feel I could do a better job myself but after listening to the podcast, "Left Lane - Street Stories #6" I have to say that it reminded me of a high school newspaper article. The speaker seemed to talk for 10 minutes on a 2 minute subject.

I also felt the speaker came off as an out-of-towner who wanted to make it clear that New Yorkers are much more road savvy than dumb old okies.

I didn't feel this podcast served as a good tool for public relations.

This is great. This should be put in writing and sent to the "Tulsa World" for publication to the masses. There is nothing that frustrates me more than slow drivers in the left lane. Except maybe bicyclist riding 3 abreast on a narrow country road!

Hmmm.. I stand corrected. There is such an ordinance regarding lanes on streets. But, I'm here to tell you, it is not enforced. And it is contradicted by another ordinance which allows vehicles to pass on the right!

I doubt there is either a state law or a city ordinance addressing this issue. And it makes no difference whether we are driving on a city street with two lanes in each direction, or on an eight lane expressway. There are laws in other states that make some calls on this matter, but not around here. And driving in the right lane, next to the curb, in Tulsa, is a very good way to ruin a tire or, worse, your whole automobile. No thanks, it's the left lane for me.
