On September 7th, 8th and 9th, the city of Philadelphia was home to PodCamp Philly, a conference about Podcasting, and TPD was there! Well, not in person mind you… But during the session about “High Impact New Media” the Managing Editor of Podcast User Magazine (one of the panelists) had the audience listen to an episode of the TPD Podcast. Another panelist, CC Chapman — Podcaster of the first hour and famous for his show Accident Hash, responded “This is a perfect example of a hyper-local podcast.” He added, “Just because a podcast has global reach, doesn’t mean it can’t have a local impact.”

We tend to agree and are very proud of being mentioned in such an important event that has drawn major media attention. Next thing you know Officer Jay will be on Good Morning America!
